First of all, i signed papers with Richard Gardner years ago that were never sent to the IRS and never filed, but my taxes were done based on those forms that were never sent in. After four years of unanswered questions, i finally found a CPA who would review those four years without telling me that they’d be charging 2k+ to do so. (2k to review your own work...?) - just got the message with the amount - and i am in SHOCK - that I’m going to be getting back after Gardner’s work was amended. I do not recommend this company at all - and if you’ve been getting your taxes done here (especially business taxes), do yourself a favor and have them reviewed and amended by someone else.

9 year customer and told that they were too busy this year to book a time. My taxes will be simple enough to do myself and save the $$. What's funny is that they offered to do an extension, in 10 more minutes and the push of a button they could have filed the taxes. Next year I anticipate two things. A much more complicated return (bigger fee for the preparer) and a becoming a new client elsewhere.Note: I gave them 2 stars because of being satisfied in the past. I heavily considered a one.

Richard has always done my taxes and was incredible. I had no problem paying a higher rate because he always got me huge returns. I had my taxes done this year and my return was less than half of what it usually is and the lady was rude and condescending about it. My girlfriend (single mother of two) also used them for the first time this year and paid $125 to get about $1,000 back. less than half what shes gotten in previous years. sadly, I'd not recommend this place to anyone now. at the very least, if you're not capable of working the magic Richard used to work then drop your rates. For the first time in my life I feel like I could've gotten just as much back by filing free with turbotax.

Our first year with them. They are so pleasant to speak with. They were very helpful, play area for our 2 yr old. They were very quick and cheap. The cost was the least we have paid for our taxes. They helped us file for earned income tax. Our new tax shop for sure.

My husband and I have had our taxes done at Gardner's for 40 years and have never been disappointed!!!We always received excellent service and since he died recently, I have the utmost confidence that his staff will follow in his footsteps!!Last year, Monica prepared my taxes and was very efficient and knowledgeable and I have heard many good reports on Eileen as well!!They certainly have earned my trust!!

Called to inquire about having my taxes done, the woman who answered the phone was short and kinda rude. Told me they weren't taking new clients which I get but didn't even get the chance to ask about any recommendations of where to go considering my circumstances before the phone call ended. That stinks...

I've had a good experience at Gardeners. The first year I used them I was having issues with the IRS and they walked me through it and helped me resolve it. they didn't just click buttons and submitted my taxes but they explained to me what they were doing.

This place was absolutely amazing, very professional. The front desk lady was amazing, the second front desk lady was amazing, Suba was amazing, and Wilma just a temp was amazing. I was impressed by the atmosphere with pictures all around and even donuts! At the end you get your own folder and a $20 certificate to a Gardner's bookstore. My service with Suba was very fast and a great experience. Thank you Gardners. :) I have never been impressed or excited to do taxes but this place I highly recommend.
