I thought they closed at 2 and they closed at 12. They were kind enough to let me come 10 minutes late. We HIGHLY reccomend this butcher. Friendly service, they were so kind and the steaks are amazing! We go every few months for our annual BYOS partys at our house (Bring Your Own Steak) everyone brings a steak and we sit around the grill cooking and chatting with our friends. Gavinell Steaks make the night complete!

Decided last minute to cook a pig for 4th of July. Called and secured a pig and cooker with basically no advanced notice for them. I wouldn't suggest doing that but wanted to say how dedicated they are. Seemed happy to help and weren't annoyed at all about it. Went out of their way to be accommodating. Pig cooked up great and flavor was awesome. Grill is a large size so bare it in mind when you decide to rent it. They have a loading ramp so getting it loaded there isn't an issue but it is VERY heavy (well made) so have some friends to help you unload or ask for the trailer grill. Overall it was an excellent experience dealing with them and I will definitely be back.

Ended up here for the first time today. This place is excellent and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. They don’t rush you. The head butcher even took the time to show my husband a carcass and where every cut comes from. We just ate the crab cake sausages and they were awesome. I was concerned they would be over seasoned but they ended up perfect. You could still tell you were eating a sausage. I recommend getting there early on weekends because they sell out very quickly.
