Fragomen provides immigration consultation services. They supported us to get the RNE which is the Brazilian ID, the CPF which is the tax ID, the driver's license and the work permits. This is not the US and even though people is cool most the time public agencies are burocratic and very busy. Expect long lines and endless turnout times. As an example: once I finished the driver license process I had to wait almost three months to get the card (which wasn't delivered home).The consultants were friendly and well prepared to deal with any difficulties we came across. I would not encourage any immigrant to go through this without the proper support.
