Visited this place 3 weeks ago, shortly/right around the the tax deadline...last minute, that's because I was out of country prior. First of all, they didn't have any customer at the time but were asking if I had an appointment. The lady tells me she'll see me in a few. Rearranges her books and sees me. Not very welcoming. Anyway I don't care about that much, she looked at my docs but apparently I had 2016's tax docs. I hadn't realized that so I told her I was going to ask my employer to resend/email my tax docs for 2017. She was more concerned about telling me to book an appointment next time instead of telling me or advising me to file an extension at that time, being that it was the deadline. No advise whatsoever & even though she started "book an appointment next time" just outright unwelcoming, She made no attempt to make suggestions of availability. But the worst is she didn't know or didn't want to suggest to file an extension. That's supposed to be your tax professional/representative?!... that you're paying to do your taxes?! Maybe she didn't care for my business or her job in general, I don't know but I would not recommend this place to anyone. Unless you're playing dominoes with your taxes & want to give your business to a business that doesn't care about customer service or their credibility, go ahead.

Quite possibly the worst supposedly tax business known to man. If I could give zero stars I would. First off, try calling this business. Two o'clock in the afternoon on a Thursday and the answering machine says "... we are either with a client or closed". Has anyone ever heard of a business that you can't leave a message.

The staff at Flower City Tax are so down to earth and professional at the same time. I had a situation with the IRS and came to FCT and Penny fixed the problem and the turnaround was quick. I did refer a relative to Flower City Tax already and will return for my 2017 taxes. Wonderful people!

After years of using Flower City was shocked and extremely disappointed last year. My husband and I knew we were going to have to pay that wasn’t the issue we just never have had to pay and did not understand the process. After our taxes were processed we did not have correct paperwork (We did not know at time) Not only was the person who answered the phone rude she was extremely unhelpful .we pay a lot of money for their services every year. I tried to get a hold of somebody else because I unfortunately spoke to this person two different times and same results. In closing my rant we had to pay $100 in UNNECESSARY penalties with IRS & was confirmed they did not provide correct paperwork .

In 2017 I make my taxes with them was my 2 year do it but that year the person do my taxes she do the worst way to fair and the irs don’t return my taxes on time I have to redoit my taxes and she never put the credit for my child care that is way this year I do it bay my own anything u can fixe
