I spoke to the staff at Fast track personnel and they all seemed nice. I was placed at Plastic omnium based in Measham. Everything was going well until I was informed on my fourth day of employment that via a phone call I was no longer needed due to a personality/culture clash. I was asked by the agency over the phone if I'd had a fallout, disagreement or discrepancy with any other staff during my short lived employment, which I hadn't. I told the agency that everything was going well up until receiving the phone call. I was appalled and devastated that a company could get rid of someone for doing nothing wrong and purely based on who they are. Fast track personnel didn't even try to support me through this. They just did as Plastic omnium ordered despite not actually knowing if anything occurred since no one from the agency were actually present themselves during the alleged clash. This was expected of course since Fast track personnel and Plastic Omnium work together. Shortly after this fast track denied mentioning the word culture. However they maintain it was strictly a personality clash, which I still believe is a wrong and unfair reason to rid someone of their employment considering I'd given up a previous job to go and work for Fast track personnel at Plastic Omnium. I sent an image of a cultural group meeting notice at one of my previous places of work to fast track personnel so they could send this to Plastic Omnium. The group was created to break down cultural barriers between groups from different backgrounds, which I thought was a good idea and prevent anything like this happening to anyone else who chooses to go and work for Fast track personnel or Plastic Omnium. I received a very sarcastic and rude email in return denying the word culture wasn't used but rather my employment was terminated due to my personality, me allegedly not being able to follow simple instruction despite having done the same job previously for an Automotive OEM and a tier 1 supplier. I was shown and told how to do the job using equipment I've previously used at college, university and in previous employment. No corrective action was shown to me and I was doing as I was instructed. If I was doing something wrong why wasn't I shown how to do it correctly and I was I instructed to do it incorrectly? I was also told I thought the job was beneath me, which doesn't make sense since I'd done the job twice previously and certainly wouldn't have taken it for a third time if I honestly believed this. The email also goes on to say that Plastic Omnium were within their rights to rid me of themselves based on who I am. I was also insulted in the emails by receiving an attachment for idiots, indirectly told I have no common sense and that I live in my own bubble. Fast track personnel also threatened and tried to intimidate me with legal action/proceedings if I didn’t remove my review and said Plastic Omnium had given me five days to remove my review despite not having contacted me directly themselves and asking me to do this. Fast track personnel claim my review is slanderous, libellous and defamatory. But my review is in fact true. Everything I have said in this review is true. I have the emails saved as proof of what I am saying is in fact true. I've shared my experience with Fast track personnel and Plastic Omnium with friends and family by sharing the emails that were sent to me via social media, although names and email addresses have been removed. I have also informed ACAS of this. I sadly don’t have the phone call that was made to me mentioning the word culture since I can’t predict the future or know I was going to receive such a phone call. And didn’t know or think someone could or would use this as a reason to rid someone of their employment. I hope no one suffers the same misfortune I did
