Feedback:

Very poor experience. I signed up with them and went through a large survey to become a client. They sent me an email giving me wrong information about the the US tax file deadline (claiming it was June 15, rather than the real dead line of April 17th 2018). Since then I've heard nothing from then, and since then the tax date in the Netherlands has come and gone too. If I'd relied on these guys for my taxes I'd been in a lot of trouble now.

I have been a client of Expatax for many years, for my income tax and administration of my own business. The staff are always friendly and willing to answer any questions I might have, whether by phone or by email. Everyone speaks English and has expertise in different areas. If my consultant is unable to answer a particular query for me because it is not his department, he will always have a colleague get back to me who can. For the price, compared to other tax advisors, the level of service is above standard.

Seemingly incompetent. Emailed twice to make an appointment, waited each time a week - no reply. Then called to make an appointment, said the person was at lunch, and would call back later - nothing. Amazed they are still in business

THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE!! DON’T GO TO THEM!! Raised their prices for freelance business tax return from €500 to €720 in one year without any notification. When I told them I was not notified of that the answer was:”You can find our prices on our website.” Really? When you raise your prices by almost %50 you don’t think you should notify your clients about that if they have been with you for multiple years?My tax return will probably take them less than 2 hours, no thanks, I’ll find someone else now.

We had a horrible experience with expatax. used them 2 years in a row - god knows why. in one case the "missed" our information going into their client portal and nearly missed filing our return on time. It was only caught because I was diligent in following up with them. The other time their mistakes cost us over 1000 additional to the belastingdienst in repayments. I would never recommend their services to ANYONE. STAY AWAY!

I have lived in several EU countries and dealt with many different tax consultants.Expatax put all the other accountants I have worked with to shame.Email communication is quick and to the point.The online portal to provide tax return information is quick and easy to use.Cost is very reasonable.You speak to one person most of the time and they will deal with all your needs personally.

MINUS POINTS TO THIS COMPANY Extremely disappointing experience with Expatax "the company that charges for services NON-RENDERED" be aware.Be aware because they'll ask you to fill in a form, will not provide any information, guidance or update after you've done this - despite several emails sent and by the time you've already sorted it yourself (month later) - they'll just send you an invoice for full services rendered even though you did it yourself. POOR SHAMEFUL SERVICE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF EXPATS.
