Ernest's office came highly recommended to me by long term clients due to a complicated work situation. My experience, however, has been very dismal. I was looking for a 3 year refile. I send my documents in to one of their tax preparer's May 17. I sent a follow up email asking if they had a chance to review my files June 2 - still got no reply. My referral ended up near the office and talked to the owner, Ernest, who informed them that I needed to call in and talk to Ernest directly. We called, but only ever got associates. We finally got a response from their office July 23. We sent in the additional docs they requested on July 25. From then on, it was a one way street, with us calling or emailing every few weeks to check progress but never getting return calls or emails. We finally got a hold of them in early September, when we were told they had other high priority clients and they would get to us next. We received our refile mid September. We then tried to discuss with Ernest the cost. We knew it wasnt cheap, but after it taking 5 months to return our taxes and virtually zero communication, we thought the total cost was quite high. We were hoping for a long term tax person, but will definitely not use his firm in the future. Dont count on them if you have a deadline.
