Unfortunately, this business screwed over a friend of mine. I watched the saga unfold through the course of the year, with the office staff making mistake after mistake. Finally there were penalties to pay and Mr Button was fired due to the disagreeable circumstances. The only reason I felt it necessary to write a review was because Donald did not handle the situation gracefully but blamed the client. I'm sure he's a good accountant for some people just not our experience.

So it's my fault that you didn't know that money I paid last year to the state was to pay my tax bill. Hmm.OK.... I thought you were the tax expert .. Not me.

Was told an extension would be filed for my personal and business taxes two years in a row and the extensions were never filed. As a result my business received a penalty from the IRS. When I confronted Mr. Button he “dismissed” me as a client. Negligent, seems overwhelmed and over charges for work.

Our business has employed Donald Button, CPA for more than 10 years. Since tax laws change yearly we rely on their expertise with the IRS and NCDR to keep us on track with the payroll taxes, quarterly estimates, monthly P & L statements and filing the Corporate, State and Federal tax returns. Great group! Makes our job easier!
