Been struggling with software to do taxes this year. We retired, sold home in VA, built home in NC, moved, and refinanced home. Tried using software to do taxes. Software and its application of the Bailey Act, deductions for building a new home, refinancing the loan, and being part-time residents of two states raised questions the software couldn’t answer to any level of comfort.
