Bruce was my support system throughout this process. When I was in need of help, he was there for me (before I was even an official client). He was able to easily identify countless laws being broken after our initial consult and executed a foolproof remedy. The TLC that this firm provided to me was what got me through the hard times. Deutsch Atkins won this case on my behalf and gave me back the strength I temporarily lost. I will be forever grateful for their assistance and authentic care.

Unfortunately I have had to seek legal counsel on several occasions over the past 20 years. Fortunately I selected the firm of Deutsch Atkins. P.C. to represent my interests on these occasions. In the 1990's, Mr. Bruce Atkins represented me on an employment issue up to the Supreme Court of The State of New Jersey. The result was the establishment of a new law ... "Bernard versus IMI", testimony to the successful representation of my case by Mr. Atkins.In 2013, Mr. Atkins was my legal counsel in a five year action resulting from personal property damages and personal hardships. Over this entire time period, Mr. Atkins again demonstrated his commitment in representing my interests, tenacity to our established goals, flexibility in his strategic planning as demands warranted, and final negotiation of a agreeable settlement.Robert Bernard

I called for a "FREE CONSULTATION" and explained my situation. When I received a call back the next day, Melissa advised that one of the attorney wanted to meet with me and the consultation would be $499. When I asked her, "what happened to my free consultation?" her response was "Oh, I don't know, the attorney needs to meet with you in order to review this. It can't be done over the phone". SO why do you promote "free consultation" for??? I was VERY disappointed!!!!

I've never actually written a review on Google Plus about a business before, however thanks to a recent and very positive experience with the law firm of Deutsch Atkins, I felt compelled to do so.Prior to hiring this firm about 6 months ago, I had never experienced the process of trying to get legal representation in regard to an employment matter. It was quite frustrating to call various lawyers around town desperately seeking assistance, telling my story to an answering machine or disinterested receptionist - and not even getting a return phone call back.I spoke with lawyers at two law firms in New York City before finally reaching out to a third, which was Deutsch Atkins. These first two firms barely took the time to even listen to my story before making it obviously clear they were far more interested in locking me down in expensive hourly fees, than they were in actually helping me pursue my case against my previous employer.I consider it a blessing and great luck that I called Deutsch Atkins. I first spoke with a kind receptionist who took down a summary of my claim, and shortly later in the day, attorney Neil Deutsch called me back directly. Most importantly he allowed me time over the phone to share the details of my issue. After listening, he assessed that he could help and he offered his services to me at a feasible rate that was unique to my situation. I agreed. Upon that, we decided to move forward.Neil went to work right away, assuring me he would pursue the matter and diligently negotiate a settlement on my behalf. I appreciated too that he made sure I kept realistic expectations based on his many years of experience. I felt like he really had my back throughout the entire process, which took about 3 months to resolve. It gave me great reassurance to know I had an attorney who actually cared about my claim and was working to win on my behalf.Neil navigated the entire state of negotiations from start to completion and the outcome was EXCELLENT! The settlement he negotiated was significantly more than what had been offered to me originally. I was very pleased.I can't speak for anyone else, however as for my thoughts on the firm of Deutsch Atkins, I would highly recommend them to others who have employment related claims. In fact, just recently I did refer a friend to Neil Deutsch specifically so that he might assist her in a severance negotiation as well.This firm did right by me in all aspects and I would hire them again if the need occurred.

I called and spoke with a paralegal to explain my situation. I was told I would get a call back from sn attorney either later that day or the next, at the latest, even if they didn't care to take the case. When I did not hear the next day, I called again and was given some story that didn't make much sense, but again was promised a call from an attorney within a day or two. I made one more call and was told someone would get back to me. No one ever called...and it has been 3 weeks. Not very reassuring.

Horrible receptionists she showed the type of service I would receive has no business working with the public! I feel bad for anyone the has to talk to her!
