I bought a John Deere lawn tractor with all the attachments about 2 years ago. I was told it was the best one on the market at that time. It had the biggest deck. I also bought the biggest snow blower they had, I thought John Deere was a reliable company. The bearing for the front tires and the metal that the tire mounts on was worn out. When I took it in to be fixed at Day Power Equipment in Roy, Utah, it took over 2 months to get the part. Now we are having problems with the starter motor. We took it back to Day Power Equipment and it has been sitting in the shop for 4 months waiting for a replacement fly wheel. The original fly wheel was made of plastic, which is why it wore out. We have had to borrow lawn mowers for 4 months just to mow out grass. Day Power has called both John Deere and Briggs and Stratton which makes the motor and we’re told that there is nothing that they can do about it. We just have to wait until they get around to making our part. I will not recommend John Deere to anyone and I will never purchase another John Deere product. I am getting ready to put everything I own from John Deere on a crate and send it back and put it on YouTube so everyone can see.
