I can’t say enough great things about Curley Law firm. We had a short period of time to work with and the team of Attorney Lucy Budman, Lynne and Debbie were incredibly knowledgeable and gave us the guidance we needed to help us make the right decisions in a recent elder law planning event. When I have to go through elder law for my own planning purposes I will will do doubt be using their services!

Unfortunately my mom is in a nursing home and I had to put my dad there too, We did have a trust set up for the house, but it wasn't written up by an elder law Attorney. Thankfully I was referred to Curley Law firm. Attorney Curley and his team did a remarkable job in helping my parents and I. He and his team really dedicated their time and hard work to make sure my parents and I didn't loose the house and was able to get my dad on Mass Health in 3 months time!!! (Which is record timing !) I can't say enough good things about this firm. My parents and I would have lost everything if it wasn't for them. I highly recommend them, especially when dealing with elder affairs! I will forever be grateful!!!! I also want to especially thank Debbie Tura, she really made me feel comfortable and made me feel more like a friend than a client!!!!

My family and I retained Curley Law Firm LLP for estate and MassHealth planning services in August 2017. My father, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's several years ago, landed in the hospital that summer with a horrible infection had weakened him considerably. My mother and I were left with the painful decision to keep him in a nursing facility permanently after his short term rehab was complete as it became clear that my mother could no longer care for him full time. This was an extremely difficult time for my parents and me. And, as I was the only sibling able to assist both parents, I felt completely alone and without any experience to guide me through how to help them. As soon as I met Patrick Curley, his colleague Lucy Budman, and his paralegal, Debbie Tura, during one of his very helpful local seminars, I knew I would be in good hands, and I would no longer have to navigate the labyrinthian MassHealth laws alone. My parents did not have a will or any estate planning completed during this time, and Patrick and his incredible team coordinated all of my parents' estate planning swiftly while still covering every complex detail. Patrick and his team are not only extremely knowledgeable in the ever-changing MassHealth and estate planning laws and responsive to clients' questions/needs, but they are also incredibly kind, warm and patient. In a vulnerable time when emotions are heightened, Patrick and his team never once made me feel like I had to figure anything out completely on my own. They not only knew exactly what to do in completing all of the necessary documentation, but are always very responsive in answering any questions I have either via phone or email. Several times Debbie stayed on the line with with my mother and me through long, tedious phone calls to financial institutions and insurance companies. The entire team is always so supportive, and they even handled most of our estate planning and signing meetings at my father's nursing home to make everything more convenient. Patrick and his team's advice extends well beyond estate and MassHealth planning. He and his paralegal, Debbie Tura, advised me on the process of transferring my father to another nursing home where my father is so much happier and thriving, and it suits his needs so much better. I never would have been able to navigate that process without Patrick and Debbie's help. Working with them has been one of the best decisions we've made as a family, and it helped us tremendously.I would highly recommend Curley Law Firm, as they are top-notch, caring, and will get the job done, even in a crisis situation.

Paul just "gets it." Too many times just saying the word "attorney" can bring about anxiety. Paul couldn't be more opposite. He's compassionate in a "non-compassionate" business, he advises but doesn't push, and in the end, he reminds you that he works for you, not the other way around.

I met Patrick Curley at a seminar on aging in Wakefield and retained him immediately. He was professional and timely in securing my mother the security she needs to live our her days at home. His knowledge and expertise, matched with his kindness to a sensitive situation made an extremely difficult task manageable for me trying to juggle all of the items needed for a timely submission. If you are on the fence about whether or not to use an elder attorney for your affairs - please - make the call. I'm so glad I did.

Patrick and the Curley Law Firm were invaluable in helping me transition my 99 year old mother from assisted living to long term care. There were innumerable financial and timing questions that needed to be addressed and I really don't think I could have navigated the our current complex healthcare system without their assistance. I would recommend them highly.

I was referred to Patrick Curley Law Firm when my Mom was diagnosed with a Terminal illness and she needed assistance with high costs of home health care. I was so impressed with Patrick and his office staff.It was the best decision I made to contact Patrick Curley to get my mom on Masshealth. He was so informative and kind with both my mom and myself. He even made home visits to my mom to thoroughly explain every action we were taking . He went above and beyond to achieve the best results for my moms well being. This is a long and stressful process and he was always available to answer questions and guide me through the process. I could not of achieved this without him. Our family highly recommends Patrick Curley and his team to anyone who is looking for expertise and guidance with Elder Law services. The process of dealing with the law, finances, MA Health, and especially the emotional toll can be overwhelming for a family. While our family was not in crisis mode, Patrick and his team were very professional, thoughtful and helpful during the process. Most important, they were there and delivered results during the critical parts of the process. They dealt directly with the MA Health department on our behalf and the results were great. Additionally, and probably more important, was the responsiveness of both Patrick and Debbie. Whether it was during the process of applying for services, or a legal question, or a financial impact question, (there were many!!), Patrick and Debbie were constantly right back to us with the answers.
