I am disabled. After Jennifer with CPA Group of Laramie, LLC prepared my taxes, I moved and my new accountant was a sweet, retired pastor who reviewed the past tax return Jennifer prepared. He discovered how Jennifer had exploited and overcharged me (about $300!). My tax situation that past year was so simple that it required only the simplest form and ONE form (this was not a $300 job - not even close). In reviewing the tax return Jennifer prepared, he noted there were about 17 pages and many, many needless forms (because Jennifer charges by the form as part of her fees). Not surprisingly, when I called CPA Group of Laramie, LLC and explained I needed to speak to Jennifer about a past return, the office manager asked if there was a problem and when I said yes, I was not allowed to speak to Jennifer, or anyone else. Shortly thereafter, they sent me a letter saying I was no longer allowed to do business with them. When they are caught, you won't be allowed to discuss it with them.

Jason and CPA Group of Laramie have been preparing my taxes and providing me with thoughtful financial advice for the last 6 years. They have always been a pleasure to work with. I had a small discrepancy with a return this spring, I sent Jason an email and I had a reply back by the end of the day. I had the same experience a few weeks ago when I needed and received quick financial/tax advice for a land sale. In this instance, I feel Jason went above and beyond by thoroughly explaining the tax implications and possible options available to me.

Been working with Jason and team for years. Until this year, when they failed to file an extension as usual in prior years. Then, after no response to my emails and voicemails for months, Jason finally responded in email with a single sentence saying they can't do my taxes and to seek other assistance. No explanation provided! Very unprofessional and very discourteous after years of loyalty. I am extremely disappointed and recommend everyone stay away from this accounting firm.
