I am so disappointed with my experience here. We hired Scott to do our taxes because we had to amend previous years to claim our adoption tax credit. He said he could help us with the process. Over the first couple weeks, he kept saying he was working on it, and was researching how to do it. I wasn't aware that he didn't know anything about it during our first meeting. He ended up filing for an extension, which actually put our first year that we were trying to amend out of the amendable period. He finally finished up everything, charged us $600, and sent it in. We did receive that year's returns. A few weeks later we got a letter saying the paperwork was missing our agency information, a simple thing to fix. I called him several times trying to get an update. Every time he actually responded, he had an excuse about why he's been unavailable, but never actually fixed the problem. He told me he was going to send the information in, and that was the last time I heard from him. I just spoke to the IRS and they never received anything else from him. I have tried calling, leaving polite messages, sending emails, even going up there, and he will not respond. Now we are past the point of being able to claim those expenses, so we are out several thousand dollars from a failed adoption, and our $600 from having our taxes done. So disappointed in his unprofessional attitude towards me, and the way he runs his business. I should have known all the reviews I could find were in his personal website. Very dishonest, unprofessional, and I would not recommend anyone to him.
