>>My updated Reply below<<. BUYER BEWARE! I have been researching "credit repair" places and they are a SCAM, Covenant Credit "Repair" in particular hides an awful lot. I called them three times during their normal business hours and nobody even answered the phone. So, I decided to look at their website again, this time more closely. It specifically says "CONSUMER hereby acknowledges that Credit Repair Organization does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results on behalf of CONSUMER". To get some clarification I called them a fourth time, this time someone actually answered. They were very evasive in answering questions. But they did make it clear they would charge me for a "consultation". I got frustrated and just hung up. I should have known better after four phone calls. Another thing----they have a video on their website saying they are an accredited BBB business. Yet, their is NO BBB logo on their website. I took it upon myself to look at the BBB website and it says they are NOT a BBB accredited business. Can you say deception? After a lot of frustration I talked to a lawyer who told me "nobody can repair your credit". All they do is charge you to (maybe) take off inaccurate information on your credit reports, something anyone can do with a $29.00 book rather than a place wanting hundreds of dollars to guarantee you nothing. Four phone calls to get nowhere, and a very deceptive business. I avoid a lot of Spam phone calls this way. Using awards that are dated a couple of years does you no good. The majority of those people are from 2015, about the same time you received your dated award. A downturn in business? Could be. --->"If you did in fact call my company""IF"? "IF"? How very unprofessional of you to call to question what I in fact did. Once again, I use phones that do not allow the recipient of the call access. It's a safety net for me. Why would I call a fifth time when it is easy to conclude credit repair companies are a scam and yours was particularly evasive? Now I know just why the BBB here doesn't allow accreditation, they see it as a scam also. Besides, I took the lawyers advice who warned me about credit repair companies. I don't have credit challenges. I have baggage left by my ex-husband. Baggage that after enough research I found I can take care of myself, for free, just like anyone else can by getting a simple book online. Not by being overcharged by a company who admits on their website they may not get results for their customers.
