The staff and Doctor's which includes their assistance are awesome. Joanne helped me for over 8 years. Never had a problem but because I moved I need to find a new doctor. I will miss her so much.

This is an updateI had been a patient here for at least 6 years. I was having trouble with my meds not working, pain in my joints and was gaining weight very fast. I loved my doctor but his PA took her personal feelings out in her visit notes and said things like I was overweight, I was always complaining of new aches and pains, and never specified changes in weight or those aches and pains. I expressed concerns that maybe something else was wrong and was ignored. I knew I was right but not what to do. Finally after changing doctors and getting a referral to a Rhumetologist, I found out that I have an autoimmune disease and the fix was not pain medication. Had she kept her notes more clinical rather than subjective, my pain doctor might have caught the pain source and rapid weight gain along with my other symptoms and perhaps I would have been referred to the proper doctor well before this. I wish I had known better what kind of doctor to ask for a referral to because after all these years, I am now struggling to get off narcotic pain pills. When I requested my records and saw her notes, I could see why my doctor could not properly treat or refer me. I will never let a PA diagnose me again after this and it should be a crime when they don't properly document your chart. She didn't note information vital to my case, but rather noted that I was complaining of different aches and pains every week. I was only in there every other month. Not only was that a lie, it was in no way helpful to my case. She recklessly prescribed a medicine off label that the pharmacy told her I could not have. Somehow the med was released to me by the pharmacy after talking to the office. I'm not even sure if she told them I could have it or not because after speaking with the pharmacist, it was released to me after they got ahold of the clinic. I feel my health was compromised by her personal feelings towards me and a proper diagnosis was delayed because of her not properly documenting my chart and the clinic stood behind her so I guess now it is ok to pick and choose and twist the patient's words, like when she asked my dose of a medication I was taking and I was unsure but said that I was supposed to add a pill soon to get up to where my doctor wanted me to be and she noted that I experimented with my medications. Those are not the same and her version was inflammatory towards me. I loved my doctor and I feel if I had ordered my records months sooner, I might have seen why things just didn't feel right. perhaps I might have been sent for proper treatment and would not be struggling now to get off these meds and procedures I thought I needed. My PA also put me in more danger by ordering drugs I was allergic to than the narcotics were. I wish I could say this was a great experience and they found and treated or took care of the problem like they advertise, but unfortunately, at least for me, their promises to find the source of your pain and treat it. My PA was in over her head and rather than admit to it, or talk to the doctor, she treated me as if I was lying to get more pain pills. She was wrong and should be reviewed.

First of all, Dr Dermott More-O'Ferrel is one of the most caring, compassionate, intelligent, and skilled doctors I've ever dealt with. And he has a spectacular bedside manner. Secondly, every Physicians Assistant that I have dealt with has also been of this quality, especially JoAnne, whom I currently work with. And thirdly, all other support staff are also fantastic.
