They are quick to respond to my questions or concerns by phone or email. We have been so impressed with them our parents and siblings now use them.

At first, I thought Mr. Conte was the right person for the job. After realizing that he incorrectly filed my taxes and has repeatedly fallen through on his promise through multiple correspondences dating back October 2018 to current of completing the amendment, in my opinion, would not recommend his services.

Bill Conte and his staff have prepared my taxes for almost twenty years. I have always been treated kindly, fairly, promptly and efficiently. Five years ago, went I moved to another state, I was afraid I would have to change preparers, but, thankfully, Bill is licensed across states and although I no longer live in Ohio, Bill Conte is still my tax man. I recommend Conte Co without reservation.

I am sad to have to write this review but I am extremely disappointed and upset with this firm. I contacted the office to inquire about rescheduling my appointment to a later date that offered to me when I originally set up my appointment just a of couple days before. I knew it was possible that this timeslot was no longer available but I needed to call to see my options. Not a ridiculous request and I'm positive that this is not the first time this has ever happened. It was just a simple inquiry.Obviously, I understood that he was busy and it was likely that he was already booked which is what I stated to Bill from the start of the conversation. Unfortunately, he proceeded to get frustrated with me and complain that he had hundreds of returns to do. He cursed and told me that I was wasting his time on the phone (4 minutes in which he spoke the majority of the time complaining about being so busy) trying to reschedule. He told me I needed to figure out my schedule and quickly because he was "too busy for this and wasting his time". I told himI was only calling to see if the original date was still available. He told me that I should never have been given that date as an option since whoever does the scheduling was specifically told not to schedule anything after a certain date. A simple yes or no would have sufficed in my book, not being yelled at and spoken to in a condescending manner. I was to be a repeat customer but as he suggested, I cancelled my appointment. Fortunately, I found another firm that is just as busy as his butwas much more professional. I am upset that such a simple question had turn into such a nasty and unprofessional phone call. I really don't understand what happened. I understand this is a stressful time of year but I don't think that warrants being spoken to the way he spoke to me. Such a shame.
