I have worked at CSA for over a year now and have worked several different jobs for them. Just like every staffing agency they have some issues but any issues I have ever had with them got resolved in a timely manner. I've dealt with Payroll, HR, Account Managers, and Recruiters and they have all been friendly and helpful in every way possible.

Coal miners wife here!! I genuinely wish I could give this place Less than one star. They do NOT care about you if you work for them. They just dont. They mess up paychecks, let you know the day before when and where you work (bye bye family plans of any sort), and for some reason, no coal miners I have met, including my husband, that works for them seems to be able to get their paid vacation they earn after a year of working there. We have many pay stubs showing the vacation hours existing right before he asked to use them. Funny how there is a reason for every one to not get theirs once they ask to use them. My husband has 5+ years underground. But be prepared to watch fresh black hats with a few months under their belt get placed into crew leader positions above you because of who they know and suck up to. Yep. You gotta trust people with minimal experience underground to lead and keep you safe. Do not even get me started on HR. Honestly. Do NOT work for this company. You will get disrespected and hung up on. Awful awful company.

CSA is not your normal Company, they are a family! If you possess good work ethics then they'll treat you with respect, and gratitude. I'm the wife of a former employee and a mother to a current employee. My son has been with them for 2years. Other family 1year. The Owner & CEO are Amazing people along with the staff. They go above and beyond to take care of their employees. I would recommend this company before any union ran company and this is no exaggeration! They took care of our family and they didn't have to. They made sure my young son & family had what we needed to get through a very horrific situation. They didn't have too! They treat employees as Family!

I would not recommend this place to anyone! My fiance has worked for them for 8 months as a red hat coal miner.. He was supposed to get his black hat at his 6 month and has yet to receive paper work to do so.. Every time paycheck are supposed to be in the mail its always 2-3 days after they day u are supposed to get them.. For example pay day was friday and today is tuesday in the afternoon and still no paycheck.. They pay you very poorly and expect you to drive 2-3 hours one way to make $11 a hour!! Also very unprofessional, they text their workers to tell them when and where to work at the next day! Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

Boyfriend worked here for 7 months in the Bessmer Division before getting hired on at Warrior Met.. Overall he had a good experience. The main boss was great, always tried to work with everyone. The schedule was rough at times but as long as you let the main boss know ahead of time if you need a certain day off its worth it. No compliants for Bessemer Division. But, like they tell you when you get hired on write your own hours down.. There were a few times the "crew leader" forgot to write his hours down.. Always got the money it just took more time than it should have.

This is the worst place I have ever worked!!They do not care about anyone!! Or your families!! They take your pay at will! There's just too too much to type! But please be carefull when dealing with these wothless people!! They are taking advantage of coal miners because they know there is not alot of work out there for us... so they cut pays.. and their insurance is about 350+ every 2 weeks!!!!CAN'T LIVE LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!
