If there was 0 stars, that’s what I would choose. After considering a potential employee to hire and having paid for a service and having a written agreement with Compliance Associates thru December 31, 2018, on July 19, 2018 we proceeded to request thru them a pre-employment drug test for an potential hire. At no time did we tell Compliance Associates we had finished the complete hiring process and background check and wanted to add the potential employee as an “actual” employee, which would allow him to be part of the random pool. We then received an additional bill for $300.00 because they assumed we had hired that potential employee, without our written permission or agreement to do so. When I spoke to them (Tammy)about this issue, I was wrongfully degraded and told numerous times I must have no more than a 6th grade education! She then went on to tell state that “I must be like a McDonald’s customer who got my order wrong then makes everyone else pay for it! “. She proceeded to point out that the signed written agreement in their policy states there is a 300.00 fee to add an employee, specifically in their proposal section 8 paragraph 2 states “Carriers who enroll employees that quit within 30 days of their preemployment test and notify Compliance Associates Inc in writing/email of their termination within those 30 days will have a test fee assessed rather than an enrollment fee” First off we should have never got invoiced 300.00 as the potential hire was never hired and enrolled as an employee. Which means he never quit if he never got hired. Secondly, per their agreement the test fee only applies if the Carrier enrolls them as an employee then they quit within 30 days. And most importantly I should haven never been spoken to and degraded by their company, that is unacceptable behavior ! Not to mention I’m glad they sent me a cancellation notice to terminate our existing paid for policy with them, as I will never do business with a company that does not demonstrate professionalism, and does not stand behind their policies.
