Comfort keepers did a fabulous job taking care of my parents. Gwen R.was especially attentive and caring to my parents. Gwen was very careful to learn how my mother liked things done in her home and seemed to do everything she could to help my parents feel safe cared for in their home.

Have been using Comfort Keepers for almost four years now. At first it was for my Mother who had Alzheimer's, but now it is for my Dad and all the pets. We have had great success using this service, especially once we were assigned Patti Short. Patti is just wonderful, she is always on time (or early), cleans, cooks food, takes care of the pets, does laundry, and helps with any other errands that need to be done. Patti has been a real blessing to my family.

Comfort Keepers of Southern Pines has truly been a blessing to our family. The entire staff, both caregivers and office staff, have been flexible, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Angie G., Bernie, and Gwen are angels and have become our "adopted family". Thank you to Comfort Keepers of Southern Pines for making our life a little easier.

We had such wonderful care with everyone of the CNAs. When my dad passed the CNA, Azi showed such compassion and helped with what needed to be done. When my sisters and I couldn’t sleep at night, Gloria would listen to our dad stories. I would highly recommend them.

When my mom needed care in her final weeks, I called on a few different Home Health Agencies in her area. Boy did I see what a difference hiring the “right” agency makes. In the middle of one of the toughest times for my family, Comfort Keepers in Southern Pines was an amazing help. When I initially reached out to them, we were in a bit of a desperate situation. Our first agency couldn’t get the coverage we needed and couldn’t even find a fill in when their HHA called out sick. Not only did Comfort Keepers instantly get us the help we needed but the quality of care was exceptional. From the owner of the agency who patiently explained the contract, to Paula, the scheduler who so quickly felt like a caring old friend - we could really tell they truly cared about the quality of care my mom received. While every aide from Comfort Keepers was kind and gentle with my mother, we found an absolute angel in Gloria. Gloria has a gift. She was one of the first aides we met from Comfort Keepers and we instantly knew we wanted her as often as they would let us have her! She was patient, loving, knowledgeable and a ray of light for all of us. My mother instantly felt a fondness for Gloria, as did I and my father. She is incredibly intuitive; she knows exactly when to be patient and when to take control and assert some direction when needed. She’s got an infectious smile and laugh that helps brighten the toughest of moments. She was also a tremendous help to my father as he was losing his wife of 53 years and always seemed to know exactly what to say to make us feel better. Gloria will always have a very special place in our hearts. My mom has since passed, and we will forever be grateful to her.Nadine did a great job as well. She took great care of my mom but also recognized that my dad needed help too - not because he physically needed care, but because she was sensitive enough to understand how tough seeing my mom struggle was on him. I’m so appreciative of that.We were fortunate to have a great overnight aide in Megan. We didn’t get to know her quite as well, and for very good reason. Megan is so skilled and capable that we were able to sleep well because we knew mom was in great hands and that Megan had everything under control.While losing a beloved family member is always so tough, the folks at Comfort Keepers allowed us to keep my mother at home, with TOP NOTCH care. There’s no doubt in my mind that if we didn’t replace our original agency with Comfort Keepers, we would have never been able to keep my mom at home so comfortably, and we may have even needed to put her in a facility. My family wholeheartedly recommends Comfort Keepers of Southern Pines.

This is an excellent company to work with. They work very hard to make sure you have the hours you need. The staff is very competent as well as very friendly. They're like an extension of my family. They have incentives to encourage you to do your best work. Employee of the month! Good salary. I would recommend Comfort Keeper to anyone who's looking for a great opportunity for employment with great people. If you're looking for a caregiver they have the best caregivers in Moore County. We work hard to please our clients.
