We used Ed this year for the first time based on a recommendation from our friends....so glad we did! Fast, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and fairly priced! Will be going back year after year...we called and got an apt.very quickly, he’s up to date regarding all the recent changes to the tax laws, reviews all forms with you before signing any documents...definitely a relief having someone we can trust!

Ed is the absolute best! He has always done right by us even when I’m calling him up on the phone for different things during the year. He is always there to help and never asks for extra money. STAY AWAY!!! TOLD ME MY TAXES WERE DONE BUT NEVER SENT THEM IN. Ed is horrible. If I could give zero stars I would. I had to constantly follow up with him. He never calls. In the beginning of April, He told me my taxes were done and being sent out at end of week. June comes and when I call him to find out what's going on with my check, He tells me he never filed my return and did not file an extension. Said he was missing info. Well why didn't he call? Because he is incompetent. Then he tells me he will call me the next day and we will iron it out. Well guess what, he never called, 2 days later I call to find out he went on vacation. STAY AWAY!!!!!

When someone asks you what your favorite season is, you probably don't say "tax season," right? (Especially in Jersey, where the government puts its grubby little hands out for everything.) But I have to tell you, having Ed from Central Jersey Tax Services work on my returns this year was a dream. He's thorough and professional, but he doesn't lecture or make you feel bad if you make a mistake, or if there's something you could be doing "better." He's very friendly, and seems genuinely pleased to see his clients do well. He also has a good rapport with his office staff, which might not seem important, but I think speaks to the quality of his character. But best of all? Very, VERY fairly priced, especially given the quality of the work that he did. I am thrilled with my experience -- and I had to PAY taxes this year, so it's not like I'm excited because I'm getting a refund. Tax season might be my new favorite season, thanks to Ed at Central Jersey Tax Services. I totally recommend him.
