My husband and I have worked with Career Connections off and on for over 15 years. I can't say enough good things about the experiences we have had and the service they offer. Unlike most temp agencies they don't charge the employee - the fees are billed to their client. Which means more take home pay. I've only been sent on one assignment that wasn't a good fit, and when I called and explained they quickly moved me to another assignment and got a replacement. They are quick to reply to questions, have never had any issues with payroll, and have some of the friendlies folks in Athens County as employees. You can go to another agency, but you won't get the family owned business experience you get here. Their support for our community, through donations, volunteerism, and Young Athens Professions group is unmatched.I love it so much, in fact, I've taken 1 day assignments while full time employed elsewhere, which came from a temp position I took from them. It lets us be able to try new stuff and meet new people. I feel like I'm part of the Career Connections family, no doubt. Thank you Career Connections for being such an important part of Athens.

When i moved here about a year and a half ago, i did so with a loaded resume of sales experience. Thinking that with this resume I will be able to find a sales job, no problem. I quickly learned things are different in south east Ohio then they are in Tampa, Florida. I was here in the state working a job I hated for over a year. Once i heard of your company, through word of mouth, I immediately went to your website and created an account. Within days i was scheduled for an interview with Kevin (whom I have fantastic things to say about). Only days after that I was scheduled for an Interview with my now employer. This was amazing to me because only days prior, I didn't know services like yours existed. Currently, I wake up happier and go to bed feeling more fulfilled than I have in a long time.

This place is the best place to go in Athens. They are super friendly, the process is easy and free, and they are important for the Athens area. Recommend them to anyone looking for a job.

Don't do it! I went into this place 2 years ago and apply for every single job available with my qualifications, which is quite a few, and I am still jobless. I would suggest not moving to Athens because there are no jobs there anyways or finding one outside of this agency.
