I am a employee of Bright Star for the last couple of years and a CNA for 17 years I have worked at numerous home health agencies throughout my career and I can say by far BrightStar is my favorite. It’s not just a place to work or a job it’s a extended family. They treat their clients and employees like their own. The whole team is awesome . Karen and Jeff are wonderful business owners always have an open door . Gina is a very Knowledgeable and compassionate nurse. The office ladies Cindy and Judy always very sweet and willing to help with any issues I might have . I deal with Christine most of the time , Always very accommodating and understanding with my other job and my crazy schedule . Always Manages to give me extra hours, and fill in my days off from my other job . She’s also great for a good laugh, in this business you need to laugh often . I refer everyone I meet to Bright Star for excellent Home health and nursing services they are qualified and educated in this field you won’t be sorry! Spread the word!!

The staff in the office has been excellent to work with. They keep me up to date on any changes to the scheduling or any happenings at my parents house that I should be aware of. The home care staff are loved by my parents.

Google review:I have been employed with Brightstar Care, Crystal Lake office for just over a month now. I had been working in an Assisted Living Facility for 5 years. At such time I was ready for a change and new opportunity to continue caring for and helping people. I have really enjoyed my new experiences working for Brights Star Care. First positive I have encountered is the level of respect given to me as an employee. This is a very integral part of employer/employee relationships and leadership. The office staff are all approachable and they care about me as an employee. Scheduling has been flexible and accommodating for me maintaining the important home & work life balance. I definitely recommend job seekers to fill out an application with Brightstar Care.

I joined the BriteStar group in December and have been so happy since. I have a client that I enjoy going to every shift. They matched us perfectly. Most jobs when you have a family emergency are not so willing to work with you not BriteStar they work with me and never make you feel like you are doing something wrong because something came up. I am forever grateful for BriteStar and everyone in the office who made it possible for me to get where I am today with my client and my job. Thank you.

Brightstar has lovingly taken care of my Mom for over 5 years. With low turnover of Caregivers and an excellent support staff we have been happy the entire time.

This location is the most incompetent place I've ever applied for. The man who claims to be managing the business is a complete joke. I have many years of CNA experience, and contacted him about an ad for caregivers. He kept blowing me off, while continuing to run ads for CNA's. When he finally responded to me, he stated that I had missed an interview with him. What a joke,. He must be a liar, or a very confused individual. Now he's running an ad for a scheduler. What does this guy do? It looks like he perpetually "looks" for people so he doesn't have to do anything. The turn over rate would have to be astronomical for him to need caregivers at the rate he advertises. I suppose with a boss like him he may have a huge turn over. Don't bother applying at this location, they are not actually hiring anyone. They have the one employee they need. The guy who mascarades as a competent manager. The only reason I gave them One Star was to be able to post this review. Take my advice, and go into to private duty care like I did.
