Don't work here unless you like not getting paid on time! And like run around answers.They don't listen to your requests..First of all I specifically asked them NOT to direct deposit my paycheck into an CLOSED bank account of mine BEFORE I started a job assignment, but they still did. and then they said they don't do paper checks its either direst deposit or and stupid global cash card, NOW they want to give me a paper check, what a joke! Now i'm sitting here with bills that are late, feelings that are hurt and no reasonable resolution. You can't fix stupid! Now if they don't respond to this negative public review then you know they are hiding from their problems. A good well established business always reaches out to resolve issues to make for a positive experience for others!

I have been working with the Topsham branch as well as the South Portland branch, and I find the staff to be pleasant, accommodating and professional. They call me with offers and if I see an opening I am interested in, I can always call them, even if it is with another branch. When it's posted by a different branch, they assist me with contact information and share my qualifications.I have accepted both short term jobs as well as longer assignments. The positions have not always been a perfect match, but then, is there ever really one unless you are self employed? I do find that personal attitude will either carry you far or dump you off the closest loading dock!I have always been paid well above minimum wage. I also have the option to decline an assignment if I feel that the wage is not cost effective to drive to that particular location or I do not want that type of work.The pay week is Monday thru Sunday. If you submit your time card by Monday, you will be paid Thursday morning. I have automatic deposit into my checking accounts and can elect to divide it into several accounts if I wish! They do have several payment options available if you do not have a bank account. I love how quickly I am paid... no waiting for bi-weekly paydays, even if that is how the temp employer pays!

Inconsiderate staff, lousy jobs, and the worst payment method in existence. Don't bother.Details:1: Inconsiderate staff: The staff at Bonney just do not care about you, your qualifications, or your needs. They are slightly more reputable than labor ready, but not by much. You could walk through the door with pristine qualifications and a perfect resume, and as far as they are concerned, you might as well be a subliterate teenager with zero experience- and they will treat you like one.2: Lousy Jobs: I am a graphic designer with 25 years of experience in pre-press, visual communication, and CAD. The first job these idiots gave me was a job at a local hotel laundromat, where I did hard physical labor for minimum wage. The next job they gave me was stocking shelves at a sleazy pop-up store, where I was doing the same job as co-workers with downs syndrome. Now- understand: at the very same time, Bonney had a graphic design job at a local printers, for which I was 100% qualified. When I asked the miserable Bonney staff repeatedly to see if they could get me a chance or an interview for this job, they said they felt I "wasn't a good fit," despite my experience and qualifications. they then offered me another minimum-wage job washing dishes. Worst Payment Method: Every other temp company I've ever worked for offers a solid PAYCHECK after a week's work. Not Bonney. They go through a shady "cash card" method that sometimes takes solid WEEKS to pay you. What is worse, is that you will ALWAYS be charged a fee, should you attempt to access your pay through an ATM.Now- don't get me wrong: If you are in the market for a minimum-wage, unrewarding, dead-end job that you have to wait weeks to get paid for- by all means- check out Bonney. I guarantee that you will be treated as badly as I was.
