Used them this year for the first time and not impressed at all.. Call after call I'd leave messages with no response. When i went to check my my status,nothing.. So i sent an email asking for details i get one back saying come in thurs. for finalization?.?.. Finalization of what i asked?? Then oh.. Nevermind.. So I'm guessing only then were filed!! Three weeks after i paid.. Not very personable nor professional in my opinion!!..

Bev’s Tax Service is AMAZING! We’ve been going for years, but this year meant so much to me. My husband is deploying and they were able to get us in within a day for our appointment. They are pro-military, very friendly, and personable with everyone who walks in that door. They also have a newly renovated space and accommodate waiting needs such as: toys for toddlers, television, and beverages while you wait. I HIGHLY recommend going here to get your taxes done.

Simply dropped off my 2018 taxes with Doug and he set up an appointment for me to come by and pick them up. A week later, they were ready. I met with Lori and she went over line by line of my filing and explained everything in great detail so I knew exactly what was going on. She even gave me recommendations to adjust witholdings so I was getting the most out of my paycheck without having to pay Uncle Sam at tax time. I was able to sign my taxes there and they e-filed while I was sitting in her office. They even gave me an addressed envelope to send what I owed to the state treasurer. All and all - a painless and swift process. Moreover my filings were processed by the states (both Missouri and Kansas) and Fed and no issues. At the end, my tax documents were bundled nice and neatly in a package to keep for my records. The price was significantly lower than what the chain accounting firms would have charged (3 filings for about ~$170). I would highly recommend for your tax needs.

Bev’s Tax ServicePros: Professional, Service & Assistance Beyond Expectation, and FASTCons: Local company (not national; unfortunately) In late March of 2015, as Executor of my recently deceased, brother’s estate, I contacted Bev’s Tax Service for assistance in filing 2014 taxes. Since I live in Georgia, and was only going to be in Kansas City for a couple of days, I was able to get an appointment for the same day. I took the required legal documents with me to the appointment, indicating I was the Executor, and explained that I had not yet located my brother’s previous tax records, so I would most likely need to file an extension. To my amazement, Bev Green was able to quickly review my brother’s previous tax returns, and help me make a list of what documents & tax forms I needed, in order to complete the return. My brother had been ill for quite a while, so I knew the medical deductions would be significant & thus important for me to locate all the receipts. When I mentioned I did not know where to start to gather medical receipts because I didn’t have a list of all of my brother’s doctors’ names, I was blown away when she continued to help me, even though my appointment time was over, the office was very busy & it really wasn’t her problem. Bev told me that since I knew what pharmacy my brother used, I could take my legal paperwork indicating I was the Executor of my brother’s estate to the pharmacy, and request a printout of all of the prescriptions my brother had filled for the entire year, which also included the doctor’s name and phone number! Due to the professionalism, service beyond expectation and speed of Bev’s Tax Service, I was able to gather everything I needed to file a tax return before the deadline – no extension needed! Additionally, in 2016 I completed the filing of the final tax return for my brother’s estate, and once again experienced the same exceptional service from Bev’s Tax Service!
