I am very happy to be a client of Berndt CPA. They are very attentive to the needs of my small business. When I have questions, they are very responsive. We use them primarily for Quickbooks accounting, originally Quickbooks desktop and now Quickbooks online (QBO). I find QBO to be a bit of a pain, but Stephan and Alicia have been very creative in finding workarounds and solutions. I greatly appreciate Stephan's guidance on bigger pictures issues as well. In addition, we use Berndt for all of our payroll processing and Don is also very responsive and helpful. We recently added various benefits - 401k, insurance reimbursement, paid lunches, etc. - Stephan and Don have been instrumental in helping me navigate what to me is a very complex process. Highly recommended.

I've worked with Scott at Berndt CPA for the past year and have nothing but positive, grateful things to say. He's worked as a QuickBook coach for me, helping to clean up my books and training me in the process to be a more accurate and efficient QBO user. He is smart, kind, and patient--a rare set of qualities, I've found, when it comes to CPAs. From my experience with him, I have no reservations about giving the firm high praise.

We were recently 'chosen' to have our Unemployment Insurance audited by the government. I sent 1 email to my team at Berndt CPA. They sent me and email back saying 'Send them to us and we'll handle it all.' I'm very happy to have a team backing me up, since I'd have no idea where to even start for an audit. We've used Berndt CPA for bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll for about 4 years, plus used them for corporate tax returns for many years before that. We have a great team. Payroll has been very smooth. I love the integration of online functions like timeclock and billpay. Our bookkeeper keeps us informed and organized with their BOSS program. Berndt CPA has a great team, and we're happy to be a client.

I used Berndt CPA for years and they went from being a very good accounting firm to an absolute mess. Constantly losing my information. Deleted my 2 yr old child off of my taxes. Got my address wrong for taxes. Stated that I made too much money to get the dependent child care tax credit ( you always get it, the percentage just changes). Literally went from owing 13k in taxes to just owing 1300 after they fixed all of their mistakes. In fact, they were so bad that the Wisconsin IRS (dept of revenue) assessed me a $222 Negligence penalty. Which I made Berndt pay. I am never using them again.

Wonderful experience working with Berndt. I use them for a full suite of services: book keeping, payroll, BOSS, tax prep and invoice/bank reconciliation. They are fantastic.

My wife and I run a very small business and this was our first experience working with a CPA. I didn't know what to expect. Even though we are small, Stephan has treated us like a VIP client from the very beginning. A few memorable experiences include Stephan staying late on a Friday to help me with QuickBooks right before he was set to go on vacation. He could have easily just left and told me to wait until he returned. I also received a late night reply to an email I sent to Stephan within 5 minutes. This was all during what I can only assume is one of the busiest times of the year for Berndt CPA (mid-December).Thank you, Stephan and team, for your patience, dedication to customer service, and incredible work ethic.

Our non-profit has been working with the people at Berndt since the 1980s (first with the original founder, then with her CPA firm that eventually became Berndt). Monthly accounting, taxes, payroll, payables, receivables, software training.... whatever we need on the financial side of operations, their support and guidance has been there for us.

Berndt CPA is a very good accounting firm. They have helped the company I work for, for last couple of years. They are very easy to work with and their team of accountants is very proficient and knowledgable. We are very happy with their prompt responses to our questions related to any accounting needs we have. Their staff accountant, Jared Brunner, trained me when I joined my current job as an accountant. He is a very detailed oriented and smart person. In just few training sessions I knew exactly what I was supposed to be doing. I highly recommend Berndt CPA .

Berndt is the best accounting firm we've had the pleasure to work with, they are professional, knowledgeable and timely. Alicia Greer has done our personal and business taxes and has helped us time and again with her knowledge, patience and perseverance. She is a velvet hammer...keeps us on track yet understands that running a small business means we have juggling priorities. We recommend without hesitation and in fact if you are unsatisfied with your accounting firm you should check them out and switch. There is no need to deal with anything less than the best.
