This place is terrible at communication. They will harass you to turn in paperwork and then totally disappear. They do not update you on the status of your application. They avoid you if you ask. You have to speak with the owner and she is calloused and rude during the interview process. I am deeply concerned about how they do business.

I'm sure Bender Consulting is great to work at. Having said that, my experience was just phone interview after phone interview, insisting I find employment in other states. Of the 4 years they had my information on file, one job was offered to me, not in my home state of PA, but CT. Job searches lead to many dead ends, but Bender was one of them. One interviewer summed up my experience with them to a "T": "Don't rely on us."

It's a solid Company on a great mission!I have completed an Internship back in 2016 an had learned an abundance of communication skills to utilize in future Career/Job positions. The Family environment is patient and compassionate and always willing to bring out the best of you. I’m writing a review about Bender Consulting because I truly feel lucky to work there. The learning process has been very smooth, thanks to my colleagues. My colleagues give me enough independence that I feel challenged and capable of solving problems, but they also make themselves very approachable and open to questions. I’m proud to work somewhere that values and respects the employees. If growing as a professional and doing so in a supportive, fun, family-oriented office appeals, then Bender is the place for you.

Interning at Bender was a great experience for me. I was always interested to see what things were like from an HR perspective and that’s exactly what I got here. I’ve never experienced a more family-like work atmosphere until I interned at Bender. Everyone welcomed me, they were all kind and caring. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. They are very determined to accomplish their mission and put the work in to do so. I would highly recommend Bender to anyone looking for an internship/job. They take helping people with disabilities very seriously and want to ensure that their clients are getting the best of the company.

Bender is a lot more than just a head hunter. It's a community of people that support and encourage each other to be their best. It's a team that continuously re-proves that limitations in one area don't equate to diminished capacity in all areas, and that people with disability can be outstanding contributors.

Rude unprofessional bunch pretending they know what they are doing. Do not returning your phone calls and treating you like you are not worth it. Stay clear, do not waste your time as they just pocketing federal money and doing nothing.
