Feedback:
one of Emergency doctors could not give a needle three times and she could not take blood sample , the way she give the needle sitting on her knees show she had no idea what she is doing, all my life nurses find it so easy to locate an artery and veins in my arms few weeks now and I have pains in my elbows, the doctor wears blue uniform ,apart from her rest of of staff more than fantastic they are really highly experienced ,a female doctor in green uniform from first time she found vain I lost consciousness ,I give five star for all other staff but that female doctor may be good at mechanics only .cannot find zero star for that unqualified doctor but rest of staff is more then 5 stars in Emergency also would like to thank the doctor who treated me after that she was really highly skilled in green uniform with short hair she had no problem finding vains in my arms in 3 seconds she put needle.

We were given an appointment time to remove my sons cast, we turned up as directed. We proceeded to then wait 2 hours to be seen... terrible. Car parking on site were full too. If you don't have enough doctors to see people promptly don't book them in!

Great hospital the stuff there are the best

The emergency waiting room could do with a up grade but the overnight ward the nurses are so helpful and nice and if asked nicely they will make you a coffee

My daughter was sent here for appendicitis. From the ER to hospital stay and follow up care was phenomenal. Great staff all around. We were really impressed and would like to thank BHS for the quality care my daughter received. Keep it up. Ta :)
Feedback:
Went to the Emergency Dept around 8.30pm on 26/09/19 with extreme pain in my right hip. Tried to tell the Doctor I have thrombophilia (I'm prone to DVT's and PE's and take blood thinners). The Doctor laughed and told me I didn't have thrombophilia dispite never seeing me before! I'm not supposed to take anti inflammatory medication but that's what he gave me. As for pain management, I was given endone which didn't work. He then gave me tramadol which didn't work either. He also gave me Valium for some reason which made me very light headed. At about 11.00pm I was still in a great deal of pain when he told me I was feeling much better and could go home! 24 hours later and I'm still in extreme pain and desperately need pain relief but I'm concerned I'm going to face the same Doctor with the same negligent behaviour if I go back to Ballarat Hospital. Where was the care and attention? Why wasn't my pain addressed before being I was told to leave? Shouldn't I have been given a CT scan? I've lived in a number of different countries and experienced different health services. This is the worst and most shocking experience I have ever had in a Hospital anywhere. What the hell do I do now? told me to take!
Feedback:
I visited last night to have some stitches in my head and a CT Scan following a fall. The staff from Diane at the desk in the ED, the triage nurse (sadly I don't know her name) the nurse Stuart? And Barry the doctor who was the kindest doctor I have come across in all my 67 years, he was professional and explained everything that was happening. Congratulations Ballarat Hospital, if this is the calibre of all your staff it's amazing. Well done and a big thank you to everyone.

There are no words to describe how inept and unempathetic this hospital is. I’ve seen animals at the RSPCA been treated with more dignity and respect. Absolutely shameful
