I was recommended to use Bacon & Co. by two of my co-workers. Having used two different accountants in the past with no luck, I was hesitant. I am so glad I gave this company a try! Jess, at the front desk, is wonderful! So pleasant, quick to reply to questions, very welcoming and overall just a great person! It’s always nice to talk to her! Tom and the other accountants are just as kind and professional. They are very knowledgeable and really take the time to explain any of my questions in detail. Whenever I get my taxes done, my information is always SO organized! It is another reflectIon of this great company! Thanks for all you do Bacon & Co. -Kayla

Tom and his team have been handling my corporate and personal taxes for almost 20-years. I must say that I've always had a great experience working with the tax team. They're courteous and conscientious, and they've always demonstrated a high level of aptitude and attention to detail. They seem to be very committed to me as a client, and my filings are always prompt and correct.What's really been helpful for us as a corporate client is their QuickBooks aptitude. When we need to expand QuickBooks to meet a new business need, we simply contact the firm and speak with one of their staff members. They walk us through the steps required to configure accounts and processes in QuickBooks to get on on track and continue with business. They've also been invaluable in helping me to understand the processes required to work with the state or to understand the steps to configure the company for a new business goal. From a consulting perspective, they've been a great asset. I'd recommend Bacon CPAs. They've always demonstrated great courtesy, financial aptitude, and they really care about their clients. From tax advise to business advise, they've always excelled. They've been a great company to work with through the years.

Where to begin....I am not sure if 0 stars is an option but if it is i should have given it. The first year I filed my taxes with this company ended on a good note, though I must confess only because there was one employee there that actually knew what they were doing (no longer with the company).The following year I had a discrepancy on tax return with RI claiming I owed money that I actually didn't, I asked my "tax people" at Bacon and Company to look into this for me and was met with a lot of push back, and was even told it would just be easier if I sorted it out my self (easier for who?), I take my car to a mechanic when its broken and I should be able to take tax problems to my "tax people" when I have them. Well not at Bacon and Company, they were completely no help and even after they agreed to look into it, they didn't... The amount was deducted from my return and no effort was made by this company to correct the issue. So that sucked but guess what, it doesn't end there!After that bad experience I said to myself "I am done with Bacon and Company!" and found a new tax guy (who actually values me as a client). Little did I know that Bacon and Co had another trick up their sleeve. This year I went to file my tax return and was rejected, as someone had already filed a federal tax return on my behalf (my federal tax identity was stolen). I was shocked, I am extremely careful who I give this sensitive info to and couldn't imagine how this could have happened, well that was until I opened a letter from Bacon and Company this year telling me that their clients information had been compromised (HACKED) and there was a good chance my sensitive information was included in this data breach. Well guess I know now how that super secret information of my ended up in the hands of a criminal. Congratulation Mr. Bacon you got me again!I cannot and will not recommend anyone use this company, there are tax people everywhere that actually value their clients, save your time and frustration and do not use this company!!
