I've never gone back and changed a review before. I previously gave ABS 5 Stars. They seemed great and attentive for doing taxes for my small business and our personal taxes for 2018, until there was a problem. Then it became a blame game and it took me 8 months and endless calls and letters to the IRS to fix their mistakes. The worst part is that they never offered any kind of apology for this headache. Michelle is great to work with and seems to be the only one who knows whats happening around there but she is not the one doing the tax work. I'm disgusted with how I was treated and how much I had to deal with to correct an issue stemming from an incorrect filing almost a year ago now.

We made the mistake of doing our taxes with H&R Block’s online service. After realizing what a mess they were, and finding out that we had to file school district taxes, we went to ABS and asked for help with filing a bunch of amended returns and the school district tax returns. They sorted through our 2 moves (Wisconsin to Reynoldsburg to Pickerington), my job as a consultant where I worked in 3 different states and from home, my husband’s job as an Uber driver, a home sale, and a home purchase...all in one year (it’s been a bit crazy). The online portal was great for uploading documents from home. I didn’t shop around for prices on doing tax returns, but it was well worth the small amount (and far less than I anticipated) we paid to have them figure everything out. Once finished, ABS handed me a folder with my copy of the returns and 2 stacks of returns for mailing out - refunds and payments. They all had pre-addressed envelopes so I literally signed documents, wrote a few checks, stuffed the envelopes, and slapped on stamps. Boom. Taxes done.

I LOVE ABS. They were a big help to me in correcting another accounting firms mistakes from last year. They are very friendly and take the worry right away.
