In the 20+ years, I have been doing books I have never been so shocked by letting an accountant go. He was unable to open any of our files because he didn't have the newest QB file. He wanted to see just a P/L and Balance Sheet. That is not what an accountant should do, they should be able to go through your books and determine what you have as income and expenses for your taxes.
