You get what you pay for.....They are very cheap - they prepare our payroll of approx 30 employees. Each "client" has their own payroll rep. I've been residing Operations Manager in my company for just over a year - since I've began I've had 4 different payroll specialists because of their absurd rate of turnover. Given the possibility that the "gentleman" that runs the front desk/answers phones/whatever he does manages these people, the turnover is understandable. He is an extremely unprofessional and rude hothead with no class towards anyone - customers or employees. Although the payroll specialists seem to be friendly and professional for the most part does not justify the amount of headaches you will endure from doing business with them. I believe this in part to be because of the poor management and workload/lack of training given to the personnel. Constant errors on employee checks and tax itemization. Most pay periods (twice a month) are accompanied with (usually) more than one phone call to them because of mistakes made - even when reminders/specific instructions to avoid said error are outlined and accompanied with payroll worksheets. Their hours are not convenient by any means; closed Fridays, etc. And, when you have urgent questions/concerns it is very hard to get acceptable answers/results - that is, even if you can get a hold of someone, or even a call-back for that matter.
