Very short with me on the phone and didn't listen to my request. I understand that no information can be communicated over the phone, and was willing to make an appointment, but perhaps I called at a busy time because Mike, who I spoke with, wa not at all helpful

We've worked with access accounting for the last few years with several issues from filing excise tax late twice costing us over $1000 Total in penalties. They were very slow to file my income tax also, i sent in all tax docs in February and it wasn't filed until October, took them 8 months! Looking back and checking how they've billed us there are many inconsistencies, double billings, credits were promised and not given. We've been very unhappy with access accounting, they never answer the phone and don't respond to emails, i would recommend anyone considering access accounting to reconsider, they've hurt our companies bottom line and the official answer from Ken Russell is, I don't care! Steer clear of these amateurs!

We signed on with Access Accounting in early June, and in just 4 months of working with them we experienced more discrepancies and errors than the bookkeeper we'd had prior for over 2 years. We were bounced between at least 3 bookkeepers, found incorrect reconciliations which required extra work on my part, and failed to let us know they had filed a tax return a month late which caused us to incur a $1,000+ fine from the IRS. Prior to working with them we had a 100% clean record with the IRS. Luckily I was able to get the fee waived due to our clean record, but when I informed Access Accounting they never apologized for THEIR oversight and instead said they were glad we got it sorted out...I also received several calls within 24 hours of a tax deadline demanding information from us. Not the types of calls you need as a small business owner - overall, they just never made our business a priority and for the price they charge you are better serviced somewhere else.

Ken and his team at Access have been a delight to work with. Ken does both my personal and business taxes and I truly don't know what I would do without him. While I own my own small business, accounting is definitely NOT my forte and Ken has made that part of my business a breeze. Ken helped me incorporate my business and has been great about answering any questions I've had. We came to Ken literally last minute to do our tax return after filing for an extension and still not being able to do it on Turbo Tax. We just couldn't figure out how to account for some stocks that we have. On top of that we have a small business and a rental property that we started renting in that tax year (2014). Ken was able to bring down our debt from $7K (how much we filed the first time around), to $2K, so now we expect to receive the difference.Highly recommend!
