After being referred to an 'ABS Payroll Services' (seeing as there are many), I called requesting information regarding payroll services for entertainment performers and ended up being scrutinized as a potential scammer. According to the difficult to understand receptionist, individuals from out of town call in and 'scam' their company. I understand the need to verify the identity of a potential business client, however, the way they portrayed it was incredibly rude and off-putting. Questioning the validity of a potential client is not the best way to start a business relationship. Needless to say, I would not recommend doing business with this firm.
