Client Review on AAA Staffing Co.

Feedback:

Good afternoon,My wife went to AAA Staffing and was hired to work at Plas Pak Industries- Nordson in Norwich, CT. She resigned June 8 because I do not agree with your policies and bad treatment. Her status in that company was as a temp worker covering for an employee who was out on leave for nursing. When she went there, she was told that if her work, attendance, and punctuality were good, that she would be hired directly with benefits. For that reason, she put my best effort on that job. Some weeks ago, HR told her that they were considering to hire her directly because the person she was covering was coming back on June 04 and that my supervisor would inform her. However, weeks went by, that person came back to work and when she asked HR, she was surprised that she was not getting hired but that her temp status was being extended. She asked why and they said because her supervisor had issued her 6 points. She was never notified and its reasons for them were even worse. 1. My son had surgery on March 28 and she notified the company and the staffing agency, since she started the 26th. Her supervisor told her he was going to send an email to notify so this would not affect her. HR said that they did not get anything from the agency.2. On the 20th of April, she got hurt on my right wrist for an assembly job. She finished my 8 hours in pain with my arm swollen. She told the supervisor that she was not staying over to do overtime because of the pain, and he, without doing an incident report to the staffing agency or sending her to a get medical treatment, told her that she could go home if she wanted to. Now she learns from HR that he issued her points and considered that day as an absence when she completed her shift from 7am to 3 pm. In other words, for this supervisor, she should have stayed working, with my swollen arm. When she asked HR, HR said yes. She could not believe it. 3. She also missed overtime on a Saturday due to a cervical problem. She called the Warehouse 1 hour before the start of her shift and then on Mondays (two days after) she showed my doctor's note issued by the hospital's ER where it detailed an inflammation to the cervical vertebrae caused by too much straining that happened at work and that day was not justified either. She did not ask to be paid for that day because it was overtime, but, at least, to be excused because it was a health issue. However, she was told by the company and staffing agency that she should have informed them, in advance. How could she notify them in advance that she will end up in the ER? She really cannot comprehend being treated so badly. As you may realize, she decided not to work there anymore. However, she still called you on Sunday to let you know that her time as a temp was up. Your raising the hourly rate to $12 means nothing if workers are going to get treated so inhumanely, bereft of any logic and even personal empathy.Never again!
