I was set up for an interview and when they wanted to place me they basically forced me to give my job a four day notice or they would move on to the next person. I am a single mother who desperately needed a pay raise so I had no choice but to take the opportunity. I firmly explained my hours and availability to both the temp agency and hiring manager at the job. On my very first day of work everything was going very well untill the employees asked me if I was going to be the closer from now on , when I stated what time I had to leave they started being very cut throat, unfriendly, and hostile. Which is probably why they have a high turn over and more temps then actual employees. I was reprimanded by a manager about talking about my hours with my co workers IN FRONT OF A CO WORKER, where she told me I wasn’t apart of the team and I shouldn’t be talking about anything at this job. Very unprofessional ! I called and expressed my concerns to ultimate staffing and they did nothing to help me. They were not comforting or on my side at all ! From the very beginning when I was unable to put a two week notice in I should have never gave this place a chance because everything was for their benefit. Do not go here if you are not 100 percent flexible. They will not care about your well being. only what will benefit them as a company.
