I've had two jobs through The "best" connection and it seems they have the worst connection between sites and even staff in the same office. The first job was great, wages on time, around 2 phone calls before the job started and no bother from the agency during my 3 months there but I had to leave because of medical reasons. For the job at Thorntons however, I had 4 or 5 phone calls asking me if I could work nights when I already gave them an answer in the first call, I wasn't given the role that I was told about and put forward for initially. I was sent messages from the agency telling me what shift I was on but I knew I was on the opposite shift so I dismissed those. Then I was unfairly dismissed for being out of work for 1 day unapproved during my 3 weeks there and the agency didn't even try to argue my case with Thorntons. It's disgusting how companies abuse your rights when you work for an agency. Something needs to be done about the law and more people need to be taught about their rights, acts and statutes during school.
