I handed in my cv in December last year for IKEA job, i had a job offer back in July. Due to very serious reasons I couldn't come to work my little brother had an accident with his mates and his phone was off. I was told he was missing on start of my shift and he hasn't come home since last night but we found out later on what happened. I informed blue arrow and told them the situation at that time, since after the accident I've been chasing them up but they had no jobs available. Few days back when i spoke to them again I was told they need to reconsider if I'm reliable for work in other words they weren't keen to employ me anymore over my past issue from the sound of it. I told them straight away I can come to work if they had any job available and if I can have another chance, but there response was they didn't have anything and need to reconsider my reliability.I can't believe how they treat people like if they don't come across family problems such discusted with them and had no sympathy at all.With this attitude they don't even deserve one star. I will be making formal complaint to head office on this matter.By the looks of it anyone with family problems wouldn't last a second in this Peterborough agency, some kind of vile behaviour. Rubbish!
